Professor Popcorn: Nutrition Program

Professor Popcorn is a program supported by the Purdue Extension. The program lasts for 5 weeks and is designed for 5th grade students. Healthy eating habits are stressed including daily exercise, My Food Plate, and a healthy snack brought for the students. The goal of the program is to teach students that healthy eating is not boring and can be very delicious.

Talent Show

Jackson students have an opportunity to try out, rehearse and showcase their talents in the Jackson Annual Talent Show each spring. Our students perform a variety of talents: comedy, musicians, dancers, music writers, rappers, and acrobatics to name a few. Students perform for their peers and they also host an evening show for their family members.

Think Energy: NIPSCO
